The internal summer party kicked off the event and was exclusively for airport employees and in camera. The Music Days with countless concerts and live acts were open to everyone from near and far. Munich residents and newcomers were to be able to register with up to five other people, with the Airport Days focusing primarily on young visitors.
For this part of the event, part of the apron was made accessible to the public and various types of aircraft were exhibited. The security personnel had to have an overview of the people present on the apron at all times.
For each event, a separate iFrame integration was programmed on a subpage of Munich Airport. The registration form was published via print, radio and web to generate the highest possible traffic.
The individual guest entered his or her own contact details and those of up to five accompanying persons in the system. Thus up to six QR code tickets were sent to the main contact by e-mail. AirLST was there live for the five days as technical support.
It was checked in and checked out at different areas to have a detailed evaluation of the number of guests in each area at any time. 80,000 people had registered for the different parts of the event. For the scanning process of the QR-Code tickets we worked with 20 iPhones and the AirLST Pro App.
